MIni B'day card

Hello friends ! Sharing a Note card with envelope today.

.I followed Yvonne's tip of placing a paper on the stencil after using it to absorb remaining color/mist on it  and made this bg ! Its no secret that I fancy Shabby chic style these days .This time I choose to use bit dark color than baby pink as I usually do : ) .

layered a doily over it.I weaved a teal organaza ribbon (RAK from Sindhu) through it.Then place a rosette ,a banner with glitter strip and label with sentiment over it !

I usually create  coordinating envelops for my cards and use the left over papers from the card to embellish it,did same here.I have used strip of packing tissue on it.Other things are same as on card.I have intentionally used teal color and kept lavender /pink color to minimum it will be a surprise to see a pink card in  teal envelope ! DO you also create envelops for card or get ready made ones ?I would like to know ,Do share.

Supplies:
Silver glitter paper- Itsy Bitsy
Paper doily- Bits n pieces

Inks
Memento Inks - lilac posies ,Grape jelly  from Itsy Bitsy
stamps - Sentiment stamp from Bits n Pieces.

Card with Fall/Autum Colors

Hello Friends ! Today I am sharing a very simple card.I have created the bg by sponging watercolors on card stock.Though I have tried this technique earlier in my Water-Stamping card ,today's card is totally inspired by an expert CAS card maker Deepti of Dee's Art Utopia ! Her cards have wonderful combination of hand-drawn images ,hand cut masks and sponging with inks ! Her recent silhouette card inspired me so much and I made this card .Thanks Deepti :) !
I have used stamps I won last year in Piali's giveaway,(they had to wait one whole year to see the light of day :) ) !! finally I got memento ink and managed to take baby steps in Stamping !! I have masked some part of stamp for stamping small leaves.I had to think a lot about adding Olive green n craft color in this card, added jute twine for craft color n hand cut leaves for olive green.I have left the sentiment intentionally as its all occasion card ! Did you like this card ? Do tell me..

Shabby B'Day Card

Hello friends ! Sharing a shabby B'day card which is inspired by couple of challenges .

Made the chevron bg with a stencil n texture paste.layered a muslin cloth piece above it.Both the tilted rectangular panels are textured.for the left one I have used tissue and gauze for other one made some patterns over it with water colors.

Placed a doily in center .Instead of making dimensional flowers this time I drew & fuzzy cut some. They are colored with water color pencils and finally finished with teal colored banner n a sentiment Label.I have also added a lace below the banner n few pearls.
Do tell me if you like it !

Supplies used :
Paper doily : Bits an pieces -Paper Boutique

Guest Designing for Technique Time Tuesday

Front-View
Hello Friends !! Today I am really excited to share a card created as Guest Designer for Technique Time Tuesday .Its an honor for me to see my card being showcased with fabulous creations by the talented Technique Tuesday Team !  Thanks a lot for the opportunity !
Now to my card ,Its based on Faux-silk Technnique which is the technique for this month's challenge. You can find a video tutorial by Mynnette here.

Side View

Its also my first experience with stamping !!
I have used a beautiful LaBlanche stamp on tissue. Colored it with water color pencils to create the main panel.
Another side view
I masked the stamp to create  blue panel with music notes .Glued some news paper strips (not visible) and issue ruffles on its side.

card lying flat

You can clearly see the faux-silk look here (Click for closer look).

crepe paper flower n leaves

I made this flower using the crepe paper streamer. The leaves were cut from a colored tissue.I have added some muslin( for texture ) and a piece of hand cut doily below the panel .finished off with pearls.I have left the sentiment intentionally .Will add according to the need as it can be "Happy B'day" , "Missing you","Thank you"  any thing girly :) ! !

Card with coordinating envelope
Apart from stamping this is also the first card where I made a coordinating envelope as soon as finished the card ! (I  have gone over board with tissue ruffles on it :) )

Whats reused?
do I have to tell ?? Its invite ,used as base for both panels n banner. Some strips of news paper.

Supplies :
Stamp : LaBlanche stamp from Crafters corner
Ink  : Memento Dew Drop Dye Inkpad-Tuxedo Black from Bits n Pieces
