From Box to a Gift Bag

Mixed Media Gift Bag

Hello friends I have a gift bag to share with you.

Mixed Media Gift Bag

I have up-cycled /reused a packaging box for this bag.

Packaging box altered into Gift Bag
Created the background by ink smooshing technique with Distress inks than sponging same inks through stencil. After that applied texture paste through a handcut chevron stencil.

The circle frame is handcut and colored with LSG magical and has some loose glitter over it .The leaves are die-cut.Do you like the sparky flower ? I have tried something different for it .Applied texture paste through a stencil on acetate sheet and while the paste was still wet poured loose glitter over it.

After it was completely dry. I placed the stencil over it once again and applied gel medium to seal the glitter.Applied few dots of stickles in center.

Sealed with gel Medium

Supplies used :
Stencil : Primal floral , Circular Lattice and hand cut chevrons.
LSG magicals - Ramblin Rose bud
Distress inks: picked raspberry ,mustard seeds
Black acrylic paint.
Ranger Stickles : Black
Martha stewarts loose glitter.
