Cute,CAS B'Day Card

Hello friends.hope you all are enjoying your weekend.I have a CAS card to share today. I received this cute Stamp set from Lovely Vithya as RAK and bought Jet Black Archival Ink recently .I have put both to use on this card.

Did you notice the texture on the paper. Yes I found textured cardstock in my local PaperMart.Stamped the images on it and colored with water color pencils. Then layered the panel on aqua cardstock and adhered it to card base. I have hardly created stamped CAS cards before and have to Thank  Vithya for sending me such cute Stampset and encouraging me to try stamping.Hope you like it !

Fancy fold card front

Hello friends ! Sharing a Fancy fold card that I made as Guest Designer for Lulupu's current Challenge. This card has a very simple fold similar to a gate fold with slight twist :)
This is how it opens

Here is the template for the fold.

The extra cardstock over the edge can be folded again for interesting variation or can be trimmed as I have done it.

With the basic fold done time to dress up the card.I have used 4 different pps in shades of blue and have distressed the edges with faded jeans DI.

Fancy fold card inside
Adhered a paper doily in center ,layered a piece of tulle over it and then loaded it with handmade flowers. All the flowers are made using punches while the leaves are handcut and inked with DI. Added die-cut flourishes to the floral spray.I have Stamped the sentiment on banner and adhered it with foam tape.
Fancy fold card with tag
Made a tag to write message and adhered a pp strip to it and did faux stitching on it with black marker.

Fancy fold card back
Card has pocket at the back to hold the tag.

Fancy fold card closed

I used 3 colors from the pack white, light and dark pink loved the velvety texture.glued small flat base pearls on the antenna.

Card Supplies
 Now assembling the card !
For the background I applied texture paste through stencil and then sprayed  LSG starburst spray in the center.Layered gauze then handcut ,heat embossed oval frame.Adhered the butterfly in center of the frame.
For the base drew strips with water color pencil on scrap paper and went over it with damp brush.Tore the scrap in center and curled the edges.
