Chicks Again !

Chicks again! A brood of them and there is a smart one who managed to stand apart! I am addicted to using critters on birthday cards recently! Not my fault they are so cute and I enjoy coloring them especially no-line coloring. It’s a simple one layered card with lots of masking.

Initially I had planned to keep the background chicks uncolored but it looked quite flat. Needed a quick fix, what better than easy pencil coloring? I had fun dressing up some of the chicks. The chicks are from So Tweet with Evelin T Designs and sentiment from Sentimental: Birthdays (W & W).

I stamped the greetings  from  Wising you with Eveline T Designs and some more chicks inside.

Tone on tone stamping on a matching envelope. The sentiment is from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy.

  7. Hi, Pooja! Your chick creation had me smiling ear to ear! Such cuteness and a clever design by highlighting the one colorful chick. An intriguing spotlight effect. I especially like the transparent colors used in some of the other chicks’ accessories. Beautifully designed, right into the interior. Love it! Hugs, de

  12. Absolutely gorgeous card, Pooja. You have taken one-layered card making to another level, with such extensive and perfect masking and stamping. I love your no-line colouring. This is something that's on my to-try list since last year but haven't been able to do it yet.
