Chicks in school!

He he... I am not letting the chicks go anywhere so soon! One of them is turning 4 today, good reason to learn the number in Math class! I stamped Mr. Cool, the teacher on water color paper and fussy cut him.Stamped only the outlines of chicks, rest of the scene is hand-drawn. Used leftover paper scraps for black board and trees.

I colored the chicks with pencil colors first, they looked very dull so added some more color using colored pens.
Let us see if the chicks were successful in wishing their friend.

Mission accomplished !! The chicks are from So Tweet with Evelin T Designs and sentiment from the big ,the bold and Happy  (W & W).

  17. Pooja! No way! That is an entire story on a card. I can totally imagine Mr Bluebird making the students repeat every time his pointer hits the blackboard. And the whispers among the kids trying to guess what he wants. As for the art... all that masking. And shading. And those trees' bark! Amazing job!
